Jeremy (12 yr), and myself, Megan (2 yrs) and Colin( 4 yr)
Here I am with Chance, the pony that started it all. This is my first big Win.
Chance has gone on to start all of us kids. He's currently teaching Colin & Megan to ride.
This is my cow, Missy. We are showing at the Jackson County Fair.
Here I am helping Jeremy with his horse Magic go over the showmanship pattern.
Jeremy likes the speed classes & roping. He only does pleasure stuff once a year at fair.
"Gotcha Rhythm" -Gotcha was my step up from the pony. Gotcha was retired in 2005 due to arthritis in his back
This is Ray. Ray is also retired after serving for 23 years as a roping, pole bending, barrel racing, adult & kid instructing horse. Ray was awesome! We hated losing his riding abilities, but Arthritis in the knees caught up.
This is Dustin's horse, Wheeler. We did some learning together this summer.
This is Sierra, my moms broodmare, and baby Star. Star will be 3 in 2010.
This is Star. She is a 3yr old reg AQHA and incentive fund filly. She is a homegrown filly, out of our bucksin mare, Sierra. Her daddy is Endzone Dancer. A beautiful Black Quarter Horse. Star is a very funny color, but after numorous pictures sent to AQHA, they decided to register her as black. She is what is called a Smokey Black--a black horse with a cream gene. Her real color appears as a deep, deep chocolate. Working with Star will be a true challenge for me, and without doubt will teach me patience.
